"Word Clouds" from Measuring the User Experienceby Tom Tullis |
I recently discovered one of the most fascinating time-wasters on the web that I've seen in a long time: www.wordle.net. It allows you to create visually interesting "word clouds" from any set of text that you provide-- even very long batches of text. So I started playing with making word clouds from our book, Measuring the User Experience. I was curious to see what words Bill and I tended to use most often in each of the chapters. I think it gives some interesting insight into the contents of each chapter (not to mention some pretty visualizations!). So here are some of the results.
